FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
ARNOCORPS BRINGS INTERNATIONALLY ACCLAIMED ROCK SHOW TO THE ROXY ON SUNSET,
SATURDAY FEB 17, 2007
Austrian Adventure Rockers ArnoCorps will be plunging deep into enemy
territory as they make their first foray into Hollywood for their February
17, 2007 show at the Roxy with Van Stone and the L.A. Slumlords.
Well-steeped in the heroic tales of their Austrian heritage, ArnoCorps takes
the myths of their primitive past such as "Predator," "Commando," and
"Running Man" and sets them to a wall of sound that is both an immovable
object and an irresistible force. While many in the press have foolishly
mistaken this hardcore action adventure outfit for an Arnold Schwarzenegger
tribute band, ArnoCorps actually seeks to expose the shameless selling out
of their ballsy folklore to the Hollywood hype machine by the bodybuilder
For the first time at the Roxy, ArnoCorps is striking out against the
cinematic thievery of their most sacred legends right in the movie
industry's own backyard.
"These choir boys having their power lunches at Pinot's have run roughshod
over the fantastic lore of my country for long enough," ArnoCorps bassist
Der Wölf proclaims while alternately chomping on a stogie and guzzling a
cocktail of creatine and fine Central European Vodka. "We are exposing this
theft not to the media but to the rockers who have long propelled Hollywood
If the members of ArnoCorps are worried about experiencing any resistance
from the denizens of the Sunset Strip, they hardly show it. The band's
previous Northern Californian audio assaults have reduced several San
Francisco nightclubs into rubble. During their recent headline tour of the
United Kingdom, ArnoCorps received a 10 out of 10 rating from the BBC for
their show in Manchester and found themselves mentioned on the cover of
"Thrasher Magazine" when they returned home.
"It is our heroic symmetry that makes us invincible," guitarist Vielmehr
Klampfe says referring to the band's unique lineup that sports not only two
guitarists but two bassists as well. "As long as we have that, we will
achieve victory in our ballsy quest."
